Religious News (1913)

The Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church was organized in the Fleming community in 1913. I ts first pastor was Reverend W.1. Marlow. Some of its first members were W.D. Crowley, C.L. Crowley, Wade Clark, 1.M. Patrick, W.W. em. Irene Patrick, M.A. Penny, and Florrie Crowley.

Within five years the name of the house of worship was changed to Fleming Baptist Church. Its congregation erected a church building before 1920.
